The Organizing Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for presentation (Posters & Videos) during the Conference as part of the scientific program. Submission will be available only on-line using the Online Abstract Submission System.
Please read carefully the information below before submitting your paper:
1.Before submitting an abstract on line please login to the system, by creating your own username and password required by the system
2.Abstracts must be submitted in English through the on-line abstract submission form
3.The topics of the Conference for presenting an abstract are Andrology, Endourology, Oncology, Reconstruction, Male and female Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS), Overactive Bladder (OAB) and Urolithiasis
4.Your abstract must be submitted the latest by October 15, 2018
5.All received abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee
6.The Presenting author will be notified for the results by October 22, 2018
7.Publication of the abstract in the Final Programme and presentation in the Conference is conditional upon payment of the registration fee of at least one of the authors per abstract
8.Abstract text must be a maximum of 300 words
9.Number references should be placed in the order they appear in the abstract
10.If one author wishes to withdraw a submitted abstract, a written request should be send to the Conference Secretariat
11.Abstracts sent by fax, e-mail or hard copy (paper copy) will not be accepted
12.Please click on "Submit a paper" button for the abstract submission procedure
What you need to know, if your Abstract is accepted as a Video
All authors who will receive a notification of acceptance, should follow the following specifications for the final video file which will be presented at the Conference:
- Min. resolution of 1280x720 (16:9) or 960x740 (4:3) and 1080 height maximum
- Pixel ratio 1:1
- Compression rate not lower than « 4000K per second » resolution file
- The final video must not contain pixels
- The video should be recorded in HD format
- Any format that can be transferred electronically via on line transfer or memory stick is accepted
- Audio and video must be synchronized
- For best results videos should be recorded in a well-lit environment
- Acceptable video file formats: MP4 (preferred format), MOV, AVI, MKV (compatible for windows PC), but not for MAC!
- Acceptable audio formats: uncompressed, MP3. AAC AIFF
- All presenters should live comment the video (no voice over or music underly)
If your abstact is accepted as a Poster, you will receive the guidelines in written along with the notification of your abstract acceptance!
By submitting an abstract you agree to the following terms:
I confirm that I previewed this abstract and that all information is correct. I accept that the content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission and I am aware that it will be published exactly as submitted.
Submission of the abstract constitutes my consent to publication (e.g. conference website, program, other promotions, etc.)
The Abstract Submitter warrants and represents that he/she is the sole owner or has the rights of all the information and content ("Content") provided to The Aga Khan and U-merge Video urology conference and InSession Events (The organisers) . The publication of the abstract does not infringe any third party rights including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights.
The Abstract Submitter grants the Organizers a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable nonexclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, distribute and display the Content.
The Organizers reserve the right to remove from any publication an abstract which does not comply with the above.
The contact details saved in the abstract submission system are those of the corresponding author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The corresponding author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract.
